Centennial Birthday Parties

Please visit either shelter during the month of September as we celebrate our centennial. In honor of our 100th birthday we will have birthday cake and would love to share some with you. Stop by during these times:

Quebec Street Shelter:
Saturday, September 4th noon to 2pm
Saturday, September 25th noon to 2pm

Buddy Center Birthday:
Saturday, September 11th noon to 2pm
Saturday, September 18th noon to 2pm

 

The Dumb Friends League is celebrating 100 years of helping pets and people. Throughout 2010 we will honor and celebrate the more than 2 million animals that we have helped.

Mrs. Jean Milne Gower acted out of concern for the plight of Denver’s stray animals when in 1910 she established a humane organization named the Denver Dumb Friends League.

We are proud of our history of service and invite you to learn about our past, present and future. 

As part of our Centennial Celebration we are inviting you, our community of adopters and supporters, to mark this milestone by sharing your memories in our virtual centennial memory book.
